The University of Nigeria Nsukka as the first indigenous university founded in 1955 has since grown to become one of Nigeria’s leading institutions. The university has completed a lot of projects and development to ensure that the standard of the university meets with modern-day technological development in research and development, security, and learning.

One such move is establishing the first University-based science park in Nigeria – The Lion Science Park. Lion Science Park aims to bridge the gap between private, public, and institutional research institutes/ centers seeking to optimize their Research and Development activities. The park will also provide graduates with direct and unhindered access to a specialized innovative infrastructure of the highest standard exposing them to training opportunities for applied scientific innovation and entrepreneurial skills.
